PENGARUH LAMA APLIKASI BEBERAPA EKSTRAK TANAMAN TERHADAP SERANGAN VIRUS MOSAIK DAN KUTU DAUN (Aphis gossypii) PADA TANAMAN CABAI (Capsicum annuum L)
This study aims to determine the effect of application intervals of some plant extracts on the incidence of mosaic virus attacks and Aphids (Aphis Gossypii) on chili plants in the field. This research was compiled using a factorial randomized block design (RAKF) with 6 treatments, namely neem leaf extract, bengkoang leaf extract, jatropha leaf extract, amethyst leaf extract, soursop leaf extract, and control. Application of the extract treatment was carried out when the chili plant was 1 week after planting until the 9th week. The results of this study indicate that the effect of application time interval spraying of plant extracts on the percentage and intensity of virus mosaic attacks on chili plants tends to be effective when applied every 2 weeks with attack rates for percentage of virus mosaic attacks of 24.81% and 14.88% for the intensity of virus mosaic attacks. The parameter of presence of aphids totaled 25,26 tails in each plant for spraying interval of 2 weeks. The treatment of neem leaf extract has the lowest percentage of virus mosaic attacks on a weekly basis with an average attack of 2.36% at week 5, 8.72% at week 6, 9.16% at week 7, 24, 48% in the 8th week, and 32.09% in the 9th week. Keywords: Chili, Plant Extract, Application Time Interval, Aphids, Virus Mosaic.
