The research is entitled as The Development of Palembang city (1910-1950): historical overview of urban structures. The problems discussed in this research is regarding the urban structures in Palembang in 1910-1950 through a study of a Dutch Map in 1922 and 1945. The researched method is historical method. There are several steps in this research, such as heuristic, source critique, data interpretation, historiography, ecological approach, politic, and archietecture. This study shows that the urban structure consisting of central government, economic central, health center, education center, tourist center and house of worship that were built by Dutch Colonial Government, the majority were built in the riverside area of Musi River and in plateau in Palembang, as a center of civilization and community culture, and tourist center and the house of worship are centered in both Ilir and Ulu regions although. Many buildings and its location are unknown.
