The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence students in completing their studies on time at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Sriwijaya. This research is included in descriptive research with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subject of this research is the mechanical engineering education students of Sriwijaya University as many as 161 students consisting of the 2015-2020 class. Based on the results of the study, the results obtained were indicators of student motivation in the medium category with a student percentage of 61.49%, student emotion indicators in the high category with a student percentage of 71.5%, student health indicators in the low category with a student percentage of 76.78%. , indicators of student self-regulation factors in the high category with a student percentage of 73.21%, indicators of student problems in the medium category with a student percentage of 64.84%, family environment indicators in the high category with a student percentage of 75.31%, indicators of the community environment in the high category with a student percentage of 80.04%, and indicators of the campus environment in the high category with a student percentage of 73.44%.
