Musi V Bridge is part of Kapal Betung Toll Road (Kayu Agung-Palembang-Betung). Musi V Bridge is located in Gandus Subdistrict and is planned to be 2.3km from the ramp in and out of the adjacent toll road on Social Road connected to Jalan Lettu Karim Kadir. After Kapal Betung Toll Road operates, it is expected to have an impact on the level of local road network service in Gandus District. This is because some local roads in Gandus Subdistrict are connecting roads to national roads from toll roads such as Soekarno Hatta Street. The purpose of this study is to find out the level of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions derived from burning vehicle fuel on the access road to Soekarno Hatta Street in Gandus District in existing conditions and after the Musi V Bridge operates. In addition, it will also be calculated how to reduce GHG emissions if mitigation measures are carried out. Data processing using the IPCC Method in 2006. The results of data processing showed that after The Musi V Bridge operated GHG emissions increased by 145.49 tonsCO2e. With the IPCC method in 2006 known ghg emission levels on the access road to Soekarno Hatta Street based on gasoline consumption of 2,131.9kiloliter and diesel 256.2kiloliter for existing conditions and after the Musi V Bridge gasoline consumption of 2,203.9 kiloliters and diesel 435.6kiloliter. Ghg emission level from existing vehicle fuel combustion is 4,790.51 tonsCO2e and after Musi V Bridge operates 4,936 tonsCO2e. Alternative mitigation is carried out to reduce GHG emissions by planting trees and using led solar cells. With this mitigation, the GHG emission level from vehicle fuel combustion after the Musi V Bridge is operational is 146 tonsCO2e.
