This study aims to determine the strategy of the Ogan Ilir Regency KPU in increasing public participation in the 2020 Simultaneous Regional Head Elections during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research method used in this research is qualitative with descriptive method with data collection techniques in the form of documentation, interviews, and observations. The results show that the Strategy of the Ogan Ilir Regency KPU in increasing Community Participation in the 2020 Simultaneous Regional Head Elections during the COVID-19 Pandemic is going well seen from the participation rate which reaches 80.55% and can be seen from three stages, namely showing research in planning the socialization of KPU Ogan Ilir Regency, the second technical stage is the action selection stage by showing the implementation of socialization to segment voters with the socialization method in the form of using mass media and face-to-face by complying with health protocols, the third stage is the stage of resource allocation, namely by providing guidance to the organizing committee.
