This research was aimed to find out the determination strategy of rattan furniture industry in Palembang city, and to find out the effect of price rate toward profit rate of rattan furniture industry in Palembang city. The data used in this research were the primary ones of rattan furniture producers in Palembang in year 2014 with the sample of 25 respondents. The secondary data were taken from the Office of Central Agency of Statistics and the Office of Cooperation Trade and Industry. The questionnaire was used for the instrument of the research. The research used simple linear regression analysis. The research results showed that 39,5% of the profit rate variable could be described by the price rate variable, the rest of 60,5% was effected by other factors considered constant. The conclusion was that the price rate had positive effect and was significant toward the profit rate of rattan furniture industry in Palembang city.
