This study was aimed at finding out the influence of Bank of Indonesia’s interest rate and the demand for mortgage loans offered by bank BTN in Palembang. This study used secondary data published by Bank of Indonesia and the bank BTN in Palembang. This was quantitative and qualitative study in which the econometric model using Eviews 6.0 program was used to analyze the data. The results of this study showed that 95.5 percent of mortgage loan demand was influenced by the interest rates of Bank of Indonesia and the economic growth. In addition, the remaining 0.5% was influenced by other factors and considered ceteris paribus.
