TINGKAT PHUBBING MAHASISWA BIMBINGAN DAN KONSELING UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA ANGKATAN 2020
This study aims to determine the level of phubbing that occurs in Guidance and Counseling Students of Sriwijaya University Class of 2020 in the 2021/2022 academic year. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. Data were collected using a Likert scale. The population in this study were Guidance and Counseling Students of Sriwijaya University Batch 2020, totaling 82 people, the sampling in this study used purposive sampling because it was based on certain considerations. So the sample in this study amounted to 52 people because it was determined based on certain considerations. The results of data analysis carried out were 19 people (37%) low phubbing level, 21 people (40%) moderate phubbing level, and 12 people (23%) high phubbing level. In the aspect of communication disorders, there are 16 people belonging to the low category with a percentage of 31%, 25 people in the medium category with a percentage of 48% and 11 people in the high category with a percentage of 21%. In the aspect of obsession with cellphones, there are 22 people in the low category with a percentage of 42%, 22 people in the medium category with a percentage of 42% and 8 people in the high category with a percentage of 16%.
