Background: Family is one of the factors that causes relapses in schizophrenia especially hallucinations related to the role of the family in the care of the family that causes the disease. Family needs that are therapeutic and support the client greatly help the client and prolong recurrence. One way to increase family knowledge and ability to carry out this role is by providing Family Psychoeducation Objective: This systematic review relates to understanding family psychoeducation therapy on the family's ability to treat hallucinatory patients. Methods: Qualitative research using a systematic review using content analysis with a search method using an electronic database consisting of PubMed, Google Scholar and Science Direct. The inclusion criteria in this systematic review are research journals that focus on Family Psychoeducation therapy on the ability of families to treat hallucinatory patients that can be accessed by full text as of 2012-2020. Results: Research on the effect of Family Psychotherapy Therapy has been conducted in several studies. A total of ten research articles were reviewed, the results of a systematic review on Family Psychoeducation Therapy on the ability of families to care for patients that led to the Family Psychoeducation Therapy method effective in increasing the ability of families to treat hallucinatory patients using other methods. Conclusions and Recommendations: Family Psychedic Therapy Method is an effective care education in increasing the role and ability of families in treating hallucinatory patients. This therapy is used to provide information to families to improve their skills in the family, which improves the family, must get positive coping with stress and the burden they experience. Family Psychoeducation is a therapy that does not have a negative effect on families and patients who can utilize nursing to improve the ability of families to treat hallucinatory patients.
