FAKTOR DETERMINAN STATUS FUNGSIONAL PADA PASIEN YANG MENJALANI HEMODIALISIS
Determinant Factors of Functional Status in Patients Underwent Hemodialysis xvi + 109 pages + 10 tables + 2 schemes + 9 enclosures ABSTRACT Patients with chronic renal failure who are in the final stage will undergo life-long hemodialysis therapy. hemodialysis therapy for the patient provides not only therapeutic benefits but also complications. Changes that occur in physical, psychological, social, and spiritual aspects can affect functional status. Functional status is defined as a multidimensional concept to assess an individual's ability to meet the needs of life and basic needs, play a full role, and maintain health and well-being. There are several factors associated with changes in functional status such as age, comorbidity, and length of time on hemodialysis. This research is descriptive analytic research with cross sectional approach. The sample selection used a total sampling method with a total sample of 87 patients. Chi-Square analysis test results showed a significant relationship between age and functional status (p value: 0.001), comorbidity with functional status (p value: 0.017), and length of time undergoing hemodialysis with functional status (p value: 0.007), while the variable gender, hemodialysis frequency, and IDWG did not have a significant relationship with functional status with each p value of 0.054, 0.897, and 0.987. The results of the multivariate analysis test using the Backward LR method showed that the old hemodialysis variable had the highest probability with a value of 4.119. So it can be concluded that the most factor that determines the functional status is the length of hemodialysis. GGK patients who have recently undergone hemodialysis have not had a poor coping adaptation, while patients who have been undergoing hemodialysis for a long time have been in the acceptance stage both in acceptance of their disease conditions and in the treatment process.
