This research was aimed at finding out and analyzing the effect of the number of Electronic Payment consisting of number of Credit Cards, Debit Cards, and Automated Teller Machine (ATM) Cards on the demand of Currency in Indonesia. This research used secondary data in the form of time series i.e. monthly data in the period of 2008:1 until 2012:12 taken from a variety of reports published by Indonesian Bank. The technique used to analyze the data was descriptive qualitative aad quantitative analysis. The analysis model used was Autoregressive Moving Average (ARMA) using Eviews 6. The result showed that the number of Debit Cards had significant effect and positive correlation on the demand of currency in Indonesia. Meanwhile, the number of Credit Cards and Automated Teller Machine (ATM) Cards gave positive effect but was not significant on the demand of Currency
in Indonesia.
