Various types of activities in a land use generally require parking space facilities in accordance with the characteristics of parking in the land use. For this reason, parking facility services such as the provision of adequate parking spaces are urgently needed. The characteristics of parking on the hill campus of Sriwijaya University indicate that there is still a lack of required parking space and this is indicated by the parking index value of more than 100% at the parking location at the Faculty of PAAP at 105% and the parking location at the Faculty of Medicine at 104%. From all locations the average length of the respondent's parking duration was 3 hours and the highest replacement rate was at 10: 00-12: 00 of 1 vehicles / hour. Perceptions of respondents' assessment of parking facilities include 20% of respondents seeking parking space for more than 10 minutes, 30% of respondents want operational time of more than 8 hours and for parking rates 80% of respondents want to pay Rp. 2,000 / day. The proposed improvement of parking services based on research conducted is the addition of parking spaces, especially in parking locations in the Faculty of PAAP and the Faculty of Medicine, an increase in operating time that was originally only 8 hours to 12 hours and the application of parking rates in excess of Rp. 2,000 / day in order to reduce the number of students carrying private cars so as to reduce the number of parking vehicles in the hill campus of Sriwijaya University.
