The overburden stripping is the removal of the overburden of the coal. The stripping overburden of coal mining on the site of PT AAP has an inconsistency at the end of each month. Re-planning is needed to achieve the annual production target of PT AAP with Stripping Ratio 4.1. In 30 days of October 2019, 696 hours, there are holidays on Fridays and operating delays. The availability factor of each month's tools vary according to the level of maintenanche this makes an impact on the monthly production target level so it needs to be re-established in October 2019 due to the number of tools of each fleet Affect the ever-changing actual state. Pergamin data mapping with Total Station Sokkia IM50 showed changes in mining elevation and geometry as well as the section Area changed from previous pit design planning. From the results of studies that have been conducted showed the effective working time that can be achieved in October 2019 as much as 539 hours so as to determine the ideal production target. Planning the target of stripping production using the average availability of equipment with Physical Availability (98%), Effesiensi work (83%). and an effective working time (539 hours) resulted in 3 fleet with a total production target of 375,747 BCM of overburden. In planning the final pit design based on the existing map, the geometry of the mine, the area of the section resulted in an October 2019 pit design as well as the mining direction in October 2019 with a target of 382,595 BCM overburden production. Keywords : Overburden, Production, Availabilty Factor, Pit Design.
