Umi Chotimah, M.Pd., Ph.D (2) Kurnisar, S.Pd., M.H Pancasila and Civic Education Study Program ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of regional number 1 of 2017 concerning non smoking areas in growing legal awareness in the school environment in the village of Muntang Tapus Prabumulih. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantative approaching. The population of this study amount 82 people with using the sample techniques namely purposive sampling, then the total of samples in this study were 82 people. Data collection techniques which used as documentation, questionnaires, and interviews. To determine the effectiveness of the application of regional number 1 of 2017 concerning non smoking areas in growing legal awareness in the school environment in the village of Muntang Tapus Prabumulih used desciptive analysis and statiscal techniques based on the criteria for interpretation of effective scores (≥25,5) and ineffective (≥25,5). The results of data analysis from the third techniques of data collection can be concluded that the effectiveness of the application of regional number 1 of 2017 concerning non smoking areas in growing legal awareness in the school environment in the village of Muntang Tapus Prabumulih can be carried out effectively with an average of 97.35%.
