ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN PENALARAN MATEMATIS SISWA SMP MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN PEMODELAN MATEMATIKA BERBENTUK VISUAL
This research was descriptive research with qualitative approach. This research aims to describe secondary school students’ mathematical reasoning skills through mathematical modeling learning using visual-formed problem. This research involved 19 seventh grade students of SMPN 6 Indralaya Utara. Data were collected through a test and interview. Results show that learning mathematical modeling using visual-formed problem contributed to students’ mathematical reasoning skills. Percentage of indicator presenting written mathematical questions as much 74,6%, indicator performing mathematical manipulation as much 41,2%, and indicator drawing logical conclusions as much 22,8%.
