This study aims to develop an abacus game tool for concept of numbers in group A in kindergarten which has been tested for its validity and practicality. The development model used was the Rowntree model and Tesmmer formative evaluation with the stages of self evaluation, expert review, one to one evaluation, and small group evaluation. Data analysis techniques were walkthrough and observation. The results showed that the validity of the material was 75% and the validity of the media was 92% the average product validity was 84% with the very valid category. The one to one evaluation stage involved two children with 91% results and the small group evaluation stage involved 6 children with 83% resurts and from both them an average of 87% was obtained with the very practical category. It can be concluded that the developmet of an abacus game tool for the concept of numbers in group A in kindergarten is declared validity dan practicality and suitable for learning to recognize the concept of numbers.
