This study aims to determine the perception of online transportation drivers for Article 106 of LLAJ Law No.22 of 2009 concerning the rules for prohibiting the use of global postioning systems (GPS) in Bukit Lama Sub- District, Ilir Barat I District, Palembang City. The research method used in this study is quantitative and the population in this study is an online transportation driver of 53 people and then the sample chosen is 53 people. The sample in this study was taken using purposive sampling techniques. This study uses a single variable that uses 5 indicator factors that influence perception, namely 1) knowledge, 2) attitude, 3) work setting, 4) social setting, 5) innovation. Data collection techniques used are documentation and questionnaires. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion conducted by researchers, it can be concluded that the perception of online transportation drivers towards Article 106 of LLAJ Law No.22 of 2009 concerning the rules forbidding the use of a global postioning system (GPS) in Bukit Lama Sub-District, Ilir Barat I District, Palembang, with the percentage obtained 83.1 in the positive / good category. This can be proven from the results of the analysis of the questionnaire conducted by researchers on five indicators that serve as benchmarks of research with the results of the average percentage of attitude 68.2, knowledge 80.2, 82.9 work setting, social background 83, innovation 86.5. Based on the percentage results obtained, this shows that the perception of online transportation drivers towards Article 106 of the LLAJ Law No.22 of 2009 concerning the rules for prohibiting the use of a global postioning system (GPS) in Bukit Lama Village, Ilir Barat District I Palembang City, which is positive or good is shown by the results 83.1≥62.5 on average from the five indicatorsKey
