WHO in Global Tuberculosis Report 2017, states that Indonesia is a country with the third largest tuberculosis case in the world. Based on Health Profile of Palembang City 2017, new cases of TBC in Palembang continue to increase to 2.618 people in 2017. The purpose of this study is to find out the performance of TBC officers and their factors in conducting TBC household contact examinations in Public Health Center of Palembang City. This study used a quantitative approach through questionnaires and observations with a sample of 26 TBC officers in Public Health Center of Palembang City. The statistical test results using the mann whitney test showed a statistically significant association between organizing (p-value = 0,039), technology and work equipment (p-value = 0,43) and leadership (p-value = 0,029) with the performance of TBC officers in TBC household contact. While the ability and working conditions of TBC officers showed no significant relationship with performance of TBC officers. To improve the performance of TBC officers in conducting household contact examinations, it is recommended to Health Office of Palembang City to maximize monitoring and evaluation, conduct inspection equipment and conduct training for TBC officers. In addition, Public Health Center could also provide reward to motivate TBC officers to give optimal performance.
