PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN TREFFINGER TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENULIS TEKS CERITA FANTASI SISWA KELAS VII SMP NEGERI 1 IDNRALAYA
This research aims to determine the effect of Treffinger learning model on fantasy story text writing ability in seventh grade students SMP Negeri 1 Indralaya. The research uses a quasi-experimental method. There are two groups sample in this research, those are class VII.2 totaling 30 students as the experimental class, receiving treatment using the Treffinger learning model and class VII.3 totaling 30 students as the control class that receives treatment using conventional model. The data collection technique uses testing technique. While data processing technique uses t-test calculation with the SPSS 25 program. The result shows that there are difference in test result between the experimental class and the control class. The experimental class obtains an average initial test score 55,80 and a control class obtains 48,60. While the average score of the final test of the experimental class is 75,03 and the control class 64,67. The data analysis with t-test indicate that t-hitung > t-tabel= 4,341 > 2,002 with df 58=2,002 on significant 95% (α=0,025), meaning that there are significant differences between the two groups of sample. The success achieved by the experimental class is more significant than the control class. Thus, Treffinger learning model has a significant effect on fantasy story text writing ability in seventh grade students SMP Negeri 1 Indralaya.
