PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA POP UP BOOK PADA TEMA ENERGI DAN PERUBAHANNYA DI KELAS III SD NEGERI 62 PALEMBANG
This study aims to describe the development steps of the pop-up book media and determine the validity level of the developed Pop Up Book media. The research was conducted at SD Negeri 62 Palembang with 9 students in grade III with details of 3 people in individual trials, 6 people in small group trials. The type of research used is development research (R&D). The development procedure used by the author refers to Borg and Gall's research and development model. This model consists of 3 stages. These stages are (1) a preliminary study, namely making observations; (2) media development studies include media planning, prototyping, validation by expert lecturers and implementation testing to students; and (3) evaluation study namely dissemination. The instruments used were questionnaire sheets for media validation by expert lecturers and questionnaire sheets for student responses.The steps taken in developing this media are preliminary studies and development studies. Due to the limitations of researchers, product development only reaches the development study stage, namely conceptual testing and empirical testing. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the quality of the Pop Up Book media developed is in the very good category (SB) with an average of 61 from material experts and an average of 65 from media experts. The response of students to the Pop Up Book media in the phase I trial (individual trial) got an average of 80.4 with a good category (G) in stage II (small group trial) got an average of 91 with a very good category (VG).
