ANNES SAPITRI, Effects of Phosphorous on the Infection of Colletotrichum capsici on Cayenne Pepper (Supervised by Dr.Ir.Suparman SHK) Plant disease frequently found in cayenne pepper cultivation is anthracnose caused by Colletotrichum capsici. This research was conducted as an experiment arranged in a Randomised Block Design (RBD) with four treatment and 5 replications, and each experimental unit consisted of 3 plants. The parameters observed were incubation period, disease intensity on fruit and leaves, disease incidence and yield. The Research was conducted in Experimental Farm of Department of Plant Pest and Disease, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University from July to November 2020. The results showed that phosphorous did not significantly affect disease intensity an incidence of anthracnose caused by C. capsici Highest disease incidence was found in the plants treated with 0 gr phosphorous per plant, amounted 54.6%.
