The skin is an organ that is related directly to the environment, so it is more susceptible to physical, chemical and infected by microorganism. Complaints of skin disorders in the community of Mintarejo are still quite high. The risk factors that influence the high prevalence of skin disorders is water quality that does not meet the requirements and poor personal hygiene. The study aims to determine the quality of well water and personal hygiene and complaints of skin disorders in the Mintarejo’s community. The research is quantitative using the cross sectional method. The study was conducted in Mintarejo’s community with population are 94 people and 20 samples of well water. The variables measured were physical (turbidity) and chemical quality (BOD, COD) of well water, personal hygiene (cleanliness of skin, hand and nails, clothes, knowledge), and complaints of skin disorders. The results showed that 66% of respondents experienced complaints of skin disorders (ithcing, red spots/bumps and rashes). Statistical test results show that there is a relationship between turbidity of well water (p= 0.016), BOD of well water (p=0.026), COD of well water (p=0.039), skin cleanliness (p= 0.002), cleanliness of clothing (p=0.045) and knowledge (p=0.024) with complaints of skin disorders. It can be concluded that the quality of well water in Mintarejo village is low and the community’s personal hygiene is still poor. It is expected that the community can improve and increase knowledge related to personal hygiene to avoid various health problem, expecially skin disordes.
