Work fatigue caused by physical activity in the form of light, moderate and heavy physical activities carried out in the work environment or outside of work can affect the performance of workers (employees). Jobs that have a risk of experiencing work fatigue include employees in maintenance and operations. The purpose of this study was to analyze the differences in the independent variable (physical activity) and the dependent variable (level of work fatigue) among employees of the maintenance and operation department of PT PLN (Persero) UPK Bukit Asam Muara Enim. This study used a cross sectional method with 50 people divided from 25 employees of the maintenance department and 25 employees of the operations department as samples. The data collection technique for the level of work fatigue used a 30-item questionnaire for general fatigue symptoms of IFRC and for physical activity data used the IPAQ questionnaire. The measuring instruments used in this study were WBGT (to measure heat pressure) and SLM (to measure noise). The results showed that the p-value of 1,000 (p-value>0,05) means that there was no difference in the level of work fatigue between maintenance and operations employees who do light physical activity with moderate-heavy physical activity at PT PLN (Persero) UPK Bukit Asam Muara Enim. The variables of physical activity, age, exposure to noise, exposure to heat stress dan tenure were factor that influence the difference in the level of work fatigue between employees of the maintenance department and the operations department at PT PLN (Persero) UPK Bukit Asam Muara Enim. Suggestions for this study are to give job training about physical activity and provide PPE according to the needs of employees while working in the work environment and discuss in more detail the individual respondents regarding the physical activities carried out during the last 7 days.
