Pulmonary TB is among the 10 highest causes of death in the world. In 2018, Indonesia is one of the 3 biggest contributing countries for pulmonary TB cases in the world. There are many risk factors that influence the incidence of pulmonary TB, ranging from agent factors, host factors, and environmental factors. The discovery of the number of cases of pulmonary TB in Sirah Pulau Padang Health Center until 2017 amounted to 28,548 cases. This study aims to determine the risk factors that influence the incidence of pulmonary TB in the work area of Sirah Pulau Padang Health Center. This study used a case control study design and used primary data. The number of respondents consisted of 30 cases and 60 controls. Data analysis was performed by univariate and bivariate analysis. The results showed that there was associated with knowledge (OR = 3,714; 95% CI 1,471-9,377), smoking habits (OR = 2,940; 95% CI 1,132-7,636) and the role of PMO (OR = 3,000; 95% CI 1,212-7,427). Suggestions for relevant agencies to further increase promotive and preventive efforts to the community.
