PERBAIKAN SUBSOIL DENGAN LUMPUR LIMBAH CAIR PABRIK KELAPA SAWIT SEBAGAI MEDIA TANAM PEMBIBITAN KELAPA SAWIT (ELAEIS GUINEENSIS JACQ.)
This research aims to improve the subsoil with Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME) as a planting medium for oil palm nurseries. The research was conducted at the research garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya, from January to April 2020. This research was designed using a randomized block design factorial method with 2 factors and analyzed using a split-plot design with 3 replications. The first factor is the application of POME, by mixing and turning into mulch. The second factor is the dose of POME, consisting of 250g, 500g, 750g, 1000g, plus subsoil with an overall weight of 5kg. The results showed that the application treatment had a very significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, and tuber diameter. Pome dosage treatment has a very significant effect on the diameter of tubers and has a significant effect on plant height and number of leaves. The combination of application and dosage has a significant effect on tuber diameter and no significant effect on plant height and number of leaves. The application of POME to the mixed application treatment and the dose of 500 g with 4.5 kg of soil is the best recommended dosage in this research.
