This research to find the correlation between self-conception and social interaction of students in class VIII at Junior High School 45 Palembang. The populations in this study were all students of class VIII as many as 225 students. The samples in this study were 69 students by using a proportional random sampling technique. The instrument in data collection uses a scale of self-concept and social interaction using a Likert Model measurement scale. The results of data analysis from this study obtained a correlation coefficient of 0.748 which indicates that self-concept with social interaction has a relationship with the level of strong relationships at the significance level of 0.05. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, It can be conclude any correlation between self-concept and social interaction in Class VIII students at State Junior High School 45 Palembang.
