KEANEKARAGAMAN SPESIES IKAN RAWA LEBAK DI DESA KURO KECAMATAN PAMPANGAN KABUPATEN OGAN KOMERING ILIR, SUMATERA SELATAN
South Sumatra is an area that has the potential for fishery resources which are rich in diversity of fish species, one of which is freshwater fish. This potential is supported by the wide area of the mainland general waters of South Sumatra, of which 46% is swampy. One of the largest swamps with potential as a capture fishery is in the Pampangan sub-district, OKI district. The characteristic of lowland swamp ecosystems which periodically experience changes in water depth seasonally may indicate differences in the composition of fish species during the rainy season and the dry season. Apart from being a habitat for fish, swamps have ecological and economic roles for the community. However, the conversion of land to oil palm plantations has the potential to damage the swampy ecosystem as a habitat for fish. The results of this study were found 15 species belonging to 3 orders, 8 families, and 12 genera of 159 caught fishes in the lowlands in Kuro Village, Pampangan sub-district, Ogan Komering Ilir district in October 2019 (Dry season). The diversity of fish species was included in the low-medium category, which ranges from 0.590-1.840. Community similarity was high between station 2 and station 3 (73%). Community similarity is low between station 1 and station 3 (37.50%), and between station 1 and station 2 (42.10%).
