This study aims to describe the problem-solving abilities of students after taught intelligent guessing and testing strategy. This study is descriptive research. The subjects in this study were students of class X MIPA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalpinang. The data collected through test, then analyzed according to the four stages of Polya. Overall, the problem-solving skills of students were in the good category with the average of score was 69,85. There were 41,18% students in very good category, 35,29% students in good category, 8,82% students in sufficient category, 11,76% students in lacking category, and 2,94% students in very lacking category.
