This study is entitled “Construction Development in Muara Enim Sub-district, Muara Enim District 2003-2018 (Material Donation on Social History Subject). The formulations of the problem in this study are how are the development of physical and non-physical in Muara Enim Sub-district, Muara Enim District 2003-2018 and what are the challenges in the implementation development in Muara Enim Sub-district, Muara Enim District. The objectives of this study are to describe the development of physical and non-physical in Muara Enim Sub-district, Muara Enim District 2003-2018 and the challenges in the implementation development in Muara Enim Sub-district, Muara Enim District. The method used in this study is Historical with heuristic steps, source criticism, interpretation and historiography. The approaches used in this study are geographical, economical and sociological approaches. The results of field data analysis show that Muara Enim Sub-district as the city center of Muara Enim District since 2003 has begun to experience rapid development in the aspects of physical and non-physical of the city, with the constructions of facilities for education, health, market, sports, roads, irrigations, government offices, and urban planning. The success of constructions in this region brought Muara Enim to be selected as the winner of Adipura Trophy 13 times in a row. Until this time, construction programs in Muara Enim are continuously carried out as one of the efforts to meet the needs of the community.
