Dendrophthoe pentandra is a parasite that can grow in a variety of hosts. Dendrophthoe pentandra (L.) Miq has antioxidant activity with an IC50 value of 9.6 ppm in 80% ethanol extract and 51.8 ppm in water extract. This study aims to determine the antioxidant activity of the n-hexane, ethyl acetate and methanol water fractions, class of pure compounds and IC50 values of pure compounds from active fractions on the parasite leaves of Dendrophthoe pentandra (L.) Miq. The method used is the manufacture of simplicia, extraction, fractionation, fraction antioxidant testing using thin layer chromatography (TLC), vacuum liquid chromatography (KCV), purification of compounds, identification of groups of compounds and antioxidant activity tests. The results obtained by the fraction of n-hexane and ethyl acetate which have strong antioxidant activity with a marked yellow color on the TLC plate. The active fraction is vacuum liquid chromatography to obtain 3 active subfractions. Active subfractions were purified and NH1 isolates were included in the terpenoid compound group and NH.3 and EA.3 isolates were included in the flavonoid compound group. The pure compounds were then tested for antioxidant activity using a spectrophotometer, so that the IC50 value of NH.1 isolates was 151.35 μg / ml with weak antioxidant activity, whereas NH.3 isolates were 96.64 μg / ml and EA.3 was 78.37 μg / ml with moderate antioxidant activity. The conclusion of this research is the fraction of n-hexane and ethyl acetate of the parasite leaves of Dendrophthoe pentandra (L.) Miq. has a class of terpenoid compounds with weak antioxidant activity and flavonoids moderate antioxidant activity. Keywords : Antioxidants, Dendrophthoe pentandra (L.)
