This thesis entitled “The Urgency of the Principle of Prudence for Notaries to Avoid False Information in Dead Making” examined the problems that the Notary did not carry out or apply the principle of prudence in making deeds, legal consequences if the precautionary principle was not applied and application the principle of prudence for the Notary in the future. The theoritical basis of this study used legal certainty, authority, and the implementation of notary duties. The study was a normative legal research with a statutory approach using library materials or secondary materials. The study material for this thesis consisted of primary legal materials, secondary legal materials and tertiary legal materials processed in a systematic analysis. The analysis of the study materials using legal interpretation. The results of the study concludes that first, recently the notaries have not implemented or applied the principle of prudence in making deeds viewed from the occurrences of the frequent legal problems with the authentic deeds made by the notaries., the second is the legal consequences obtained by the notaries if they do not apply the prudence principle they can be held accountable for both civil and criminal responsibility and finally the application of the prudence principle for the notaries at a later time is very important for them in carrying out his duties and positions so that the deeds they make will not have impilcations for legal problems in the future.
