KERAGAMAN DAN KESAMAAN JENIS VEGETASI PADA AREA ALAMI DAN AREAA REVEGETASI LAHAN BEKAS TAMBANG BATU BARA IUP PT BARA ALAM UTAMA, SITE LAHAT, SUMATERA SELATAN
Mining is one sector that can generate large foreign exchange for the country. But in addition to foreign exchange, the mining industry (especially with open mining methods) has produced impacts in the form of environmental damage. One way to overcome the impact of this activity is revegetation. High or low diversity of vegetation can be calculated by conducting vegetation analysis. Vegetation analysis was carried out to determine the success of revegetation activities. The method used is exploratory survey and determination of sampling locations using purposive sampling method. Purposive sampling is based on revegetation land age levels from 2012-2018. Natural or control area as location 1. Sampling is done by a combination method. The results obtained were two classes consisting of Dicot 23 families with 53 species, while Monocot 4 families with 7 species. Simpson Diversity Index in natural areas and revegetation areas is classified as moderate to high. The value of tree level diversity index ranges between 0-0.50, pole level range between 0-0.87, sapling level range between 0.45-0.82 and seedling and plant level below the range between 0.78-0.91. The highest similarity index for tree, pole and sapling levels is the comparison of 2013 revegetation areas and 2016 revegetation with a value of 66.6% while the highest similarity index for seedlings and undergrowth is the comparison of revegetation areas (2014 and 2015) with index values 69.5%.
