This study aims to describe problem-solving skills of student after implementing adopting a different point of view strategy in class XI SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalpinang. This research is a descriptive research with research subjects were students of class XI MIPA 5 SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalpinang. The data collected through test, then analyzed based on the Polya stages. Overall, the problem-solving skills of student were in the good category with the average of score was 63.48. There were 33.33% of students in very good category, 16.67% of students in good category, 36.67% of students being in sufficient category, 10,00% of students in lacking category, and 3.33% of the students were in the very lacking category. The indicator of problem solving skills with the highest percentage was understanding the problem with 82.22%, while for the lowest percentage was re-checking with 30.83%.
