PENGARUH STUNTING TERHADAP PERKEMBANGAN MOTORIK PADA ANAK TK USIA 3-5 TAHUN DI KECAMATAN BUMI WARAS KOTA BANDAR LAMPUNG
Stunting is a condition of failure to thrive in children under five (children under five years old), which is a result of chronic malnutrition, so the child is too short for her age. The results of the survey Riskesdas in the year 2018 showed that the incidence of stunting in the City of Bandar Lampung has a prevalence reaching 33,4% in 2017. The purpose of this study was to determine the analysis of the influence of stunting on motor development in kindergarten children aged 3-5 years at Bumi Waras, Bandar Lampung. This research is quantitative research using cross sectional design with a total sample of 84 respondents. The analysis conducted in this study is univariate and bivariate. From the results of the univariate analysis found that stunting children amounted to 39%, the child has a developmental disorder fine motor amounted to 32,1% , and children with impaired gross motor development by 25%. Results bivariate analysis showed a significant influence of stunting on the development of fine motor and gross motor child, and there is influence of psychosocial stimulation development of child's fine motor. It can be concluded that the stunting effect on motor development of the kindergarten child ages 3-5 years, so the suggestion from this study is that health workers and society should more attention to the intake of a nutrient which is eaten by children and more concerned about the motor development of the child.
