APLIKASI INVERSI SEISMIK UNTUK PEMETAAN ZONA RESERVOAR PADA LAPANGAN AL-BASARI SUB CEKUNGAN JAMBI CEKUNGAN SUMATERA SELATAN
Seismic inversion application is applied for reservoir zone mapping in the Al-Basari well field (BSR) of the South Sumatra Basin, Jambi Sub Basin. In this study, reservoir identification was carried out at 6 well points namely BSR-01, BSR-02, BSR-03, BSR-4, BSR-05 and BSR-06 which are in the target layer of the Talang Akar Formation. The purpose of this seismic inversion application is to identify the distribution of the reservoir zone and to develop the potential for new wells. A potential reservoir zone has been identified base on logs of the six existing wells, then the distribution of the reservoir zone is estimated by using a model-based seismic inversion method which produces an acoustic impedance distribution map at the target area, while the estimation of the potential of new wells is based on a fold-trap analysis which has a target acoustic impedance value. Reservoir identification results show that the target reservoir is in the zone 5 with an acoustic impedance value of 6500 - 9500 (m/s).(gr/cc). For potential wells, only 3 areas were identified with a northwest direction slightly to the north and south. Keyword: seismic inversion, reservoir, Talang Akar Formation, acoustic impedance, fold-traps, well development
