ANALISIS PROSPEK HIDROKARBON DENGAN FASIES SEISMIK DAN SEISMIK INVERSI IMPEDANSI AKUSTIK DI AREA “CVA” SUB CEKUNGAN JAMBI, CEKUNGAN SUMATERA SELATAN
The research area of the Jambi Sub Basin, South Sumatra Basin is an active field in conducting exploration to find the presence of hydrocarbons. In the determining the hydrocarbon prospect zone, several studies are conducted, called petrophysical analysis, structure map, acoustic impedance inversion (AI) and interpretation facies seismic. Petrophysical analysis was carried out to determine the hydrocarbon reservoir prospect zone “X” well “CVA” area. Structure maps describe where’s the new trapped areas will be used as new hydrocarbon prospect. Acoustic impedance inversion (AI) controlled by “X” well used to see the distribution of acoustic impedance (AI) values in the new hydrocarbon prospect zones. Interpretation of facies seismic is carried out to find out the depositional patterns that occur in the seismic cross section of the new hydrocarbon prospect zone. Based on the analysis that has been done, it is obtained that the distribution of sandstone reservoirs in 3 (three) new traps and has a relatively low acoustic impedance (AI) distribution range around 17000-29000 ((m / s) * (g / cc)). The interpretation of facies seimic in the 3 (three) new hydrocarbon prospect zones illustrates the erosional pattern (truncation) and channel filling or prograded fill pattern.
