ANALISIS JURNAL DALAM UPAYA EVIDENCE BASED NURSING TERKAIT DENGAN EFEKTIVITAS HAND SANITIZER TERHADAP KEBERSIHAN TANGAN

Latar Belakang : Penyakit dapat disebarkan melalui beberapa cara, salah satunya dengan memegang hidung atau mata dengan tangan yang mungkin sudah terkontaminasi bakteri atau virus. Mencuci tangan dengan sabun dapat menurunkan jumlah kuman di tangan sampai dengan 58%. Pada era modern seperti sekarang ini masyarakat sudah mulai memakai hand sanitizer karena memiliki banyak keuntungan seperti mudah dibawa, praktis dan dapat digunakan dalam keadaan darurat ketika kita tidak menemukan air dan sabun. Tujuan : Melakukan telaah jurnal dalam upaya Evidence Based Nursing yang terkait dengan efektvitas Hand Sanitizer terhadap kebersihan tangan. Metode : penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan literature review menggunakan analisis konten dengan metode pencarian menggunakan electronic data base terdiri dari PubMed dan Google Scholar. Hasil : Penelitian tentang efektivitas hand sanitizer terhadap kebersihan tangan telah dilakukan di beberapa Negara dengan metode yang berbeda. Hasil dari analisis jurnal bahwa mayoritas hand sanitizer yang digunakan dalam penelitian terbukti efektif dalam membunuh kuman dan mencegah dari berbagai penyakit infeksi. Selain itu terdapat berbagai jenis hand sanitizer dengan kandungan yang berbeda seperti hand sanitizer berbahan alkohol, alami dan ethanol. Hand sanitizer yang efektif membunuh kuman yaitu yang mengandung kadar alkohol 60-95%. Kesimpulan dan saran : Evidence Based Nursing terkait efektivitas hand sanitizer terhadap kebersihan tangan yang bisa disimpulkan dari telaah literature review ini adalah kandungan hand sanitizer yang efektif untuk membunuh kuman adalah alkohol dengan kadar 60-95%, kemudian ethanol dan hand sanitizer berbahan dasar alami. Kata Kunci : Efektivitas hand sanitizer, cuci tangan, Evidence Based Nursing. JOURNAL ANALYSIS IN THE EFFECT OF EVIDENCE BASED NURSING RELATED TO THE EFFECTIVENESS OF HAND SANITIZER ON CLEAN HANDS Aulia Safitri Nursing Profession Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Sriwijaya University ABSTRACT Background: Disease can be spread in a number of ways, one of which is by holding the nose or eyes with hands that may have been contaminated with bacteria or viruses. Washing hands with soap can reduce the number of germs on the hands up to 58%. In the modern era like now people have started to use hand sanitizers because they have many advantages such as being easy to carry, practical and can be used in emergencies when we do not find water and soap. Purpose : To study journals in Evidence Based Nursing efforts related to the effectiveness of Hand Sanitizer on hand hygiene. Methods: qualitative research with a literature review approach using content analysis with a search method using an electronic data base consisting of PubMed and Google Scholar. Results: Research on the effectiveness of hand sanitizers on hand hygiene has been conducted in several countries with different methods. The results of a journal analysis show that the majority of hand sanitizers used in research have proven to be effective in killing germs and preventing infectious diseases. In addition there are various types of hand sanitizers with different content such as hand sanitizers made from alcohol, natural and ethanol. An effective hand sanitizer that kills germs that contains 60-95% alcohol content. Conclusions and suggestions: Evidence Based Nursing related to the effectiveness of hand sanitizers on hand hygiene which can be concluded from the review of this literature review is that the content of an effective hand sanitizer to kill germs is alcohol with 60-95% content, then ethanol and natural sanitary hand sanitizer.
