This study aimed to determine the Diffusion of Innovation of the Adiwiyata Program conducted by the Department of environmental and land toward schools in Ogan Ilir. This research used descriptive qualitative method with the theory of Diffusion of innovation by Everett M. Rogers with 4 elements called Innovation, Communications channels, Duration and social systems. The result obtained in the field showed that the program was not well implemented. This indicated that the schools, the lack of the facilities and infrastructure, and the difficulties with thw administrative requirements. So that the Adiwiyata program was only adopted by a number of schools that did have good readiness both in administration and infrastructure.
