STRATEGI KOMUNIKASI DINAS KOMUNIKASI DAN INFORMATIKA KOTA PALEMBANG PADA LAYANAN PALEMBANG SIAGA 112
The purpose of this study is to look at the communication strategy of the Office of Communication and Information of Palembang City on Palembang Siaga 112 Service. This study uses qualitative research methods. Research data obtained from primary and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through in-depth interviews with two staff of Palembang Siaga 112 Service, two Integrated Regional Representative Offices of Palembang City, and two people of representatives the Palembang City as service users. Furthermore, secondary data is obtained through library research, photographs, pictures, and archive documentation. According to Cutlip, Center, Broom, the communication strategy runs well measured by four proces basic assumptions, namely Define problems or opportunities, plan and program, take action and communicate, and evaluate programs. Based on the analysis of the results of research conducted, it can be concluded that the communication strategy of the Office of Communication and Information of Palembang City on Palembang Siaga 112 Service has not been going well enough. Based on the analysis from the result of research conduct, it can be concluded that the communication strategy by Palembang Siaga 112 Service hasn’t appropriate with a good communication strategy according Cutlip, Center, Broom. It’s because the Office of Communication and Information of Palembang City runs two stages of four existing stages, namely the first stage define problems or opportunities, and the third stage is take action and communicate.
