STRATEGI KOMUNIKASI BADAN NARKOTIKA NASIONAL KABUPATEN OGAN ILIR DALAM KAMPANYE SOSIAL DAMPAK PENYALAHGUNAAN NARKOBA DIKALANGAN REMAJA OGAN ILIR
This research is entitled "Communication Strategy of National Narcotics Agency Ogan Ilir Regency in the Social Campaign about The Impact of Drug Abuse among Ogan Ilir Teenagers". This study aims to determine the communication strategy of National Narcotics Agency (BNN) of Ogan Ilir Regency in carrying out social campaigns regarding the impact of drug abuse among Ogan Ilir teenagers. This study uses the theory of communication strategies from Cutlip, Center & Broom and descriptive qualitative methods with data obtained from in-depth interviews with two main informants and three additional informants, observation, literature study, and documentation. The results of this study indicated that the communication strategy carried out by the BNN in Ogan Ilir Regency to do social campaigns regarding the impact of drug abuse fulfill four elements in the communication strategy process. First, there was a defining the problem in the form of observation and attention to the problems that is occured. Second, planning or programming was quite good with the existence of program objectives and the existence of communicants, even though there is no SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) yet. Third, the existence of taking action and good communication such as message selection strategies, communicators, and communication channels. Fourth, there was program evaluation that has not been implemented optimally.
