This study aims to determine the impact of the existence of PT Oki Pulp and Paper Mills on the socio-economic stuation of Sungai Baung village community. The population in this study is the community of Sungai Baung Village, which is near the industrial area amounting to 333 people and then the sample chosen is 24 people . The sample in this study was teken using a cluster sampling technique (area sampling) taken as much as 15% of the total population. This study uses a single variable by using 3 indicators of socio economic conditions, namely education level, health level dan income level. Data collection techniques used are documentation and questionnaires, based on the results of research analysis it can be concluded that the impact of the presence of the PT Oki Pulp and Paper Mills factory industry on the socio-economic conditions of the Sungai Baung Village Community is positive. This is seen from the result of a questionnaire analysis that researchers conducted from the three indicator of socio economic conditions with an average value of education level 87,4, health level 87,4, income level 86,4, with an average result of 87,1. The result of the recapitulation score obtained by reseacrhers through the results of data analysis is greater than (>) 62,5.
