This research was conducted due to the emergence of the official campus motorcycle taxi account at Sriwijaya University so that the many uses of food features through the campus motorcycle taxi. The object of this research is Sriwijaya University students who live in apartments, dormitories, and student flats. This study aims to examine students who use food so that it causes lazy and consumptive behavior at the University of Sriwijaya by using the approach of the theory of the Phenomenology of Alfred Schutz. The method in this research is to use a qualitative descriptive method. The informants of this study are students who live in apartments, dormitories, and student flats and who use food at least 3 (three) times a week with a total of 8 subjects. Data collection techniques with in-depth interviews with informants as the main, observation, and documentation as supporting methods. The results of the study can be seen that students who use food services have a variety of interpretations and preoccupations so that gofood services have become daily necessities.
