HUBUNGAN WHOLE BODY VIBRATION DENGAN KELUHAN LOW BACK PAIN PADA OPERATOR ALAT BERAT DI PT. X
Whole body vibration known as the cause interference of low back pain, the operator of heavy tool is a group which impacted whole body vibration with high frequency. The exposed of WBV which is happen in the continue time and exceded treshold value can make the operator have low back pain. The aim of this study is the relationship between whole body vibration and complaints of low back pain. The method of this study is quantitative with cross sectional design. The sampling technique was done by using the total sampling technique. The measurement of Whole body vibration was done by using vibration meter tool and done phisychal examination to the thirty 42 operators of heavy tool in PT.X. The techniques analysusu data are univariate and bivariate using fisher exact test. This data served in the form of table and narrative also used to interprate the data. The result of this study was 83,3 % had exsposure value of whole body vibration and the threshold value (0, 8661 m/s2) based on permenaker RI Number 5, 2018. The respondents which had low back pain complain as mush 59,5%. Base on bivariate analysis which related to complaints of low back pain was exposure value of whole body vibration > NAB (0,661 m/s2) with p-value = 0,012 and work time ≥ 5 years with p-value = 0,028. In brief the value of whole body vibration exposed > threshold value (0,8661 m/s2) had influencing with low back pain complain to the heavy tool’s operator. In suggestion the operator heavy tool should give the devire to reduce the vibration such as pillow at the seat support chair with do some treatment to the machine in periodic maintenance.
