KOMUNIKASI KESEHATAN PERKUMPULAN KELUARGA BERENCANA INDONESIA (PKBI) DALAM PROGRAM PENCEGAHAN PENYAKIT HUMAN IMMUNODEFICIENCY VIRUS (HIV) DI KOTA PRABUMULIH (STUDI PADA PETUGAS LAPANGAN DENGAN PEKERJA SEKS PEREMPUAN DI LOKALISASI SIMPANG PENIMUR)
The title of this research is "Health Communication of the Indonesian Family Planning Association (PKBI) in the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) Prevention Program in the City of Prabumulih (Study of Field Officers with Female Sex Workers in the East Timor Localization)" This study aims to find out how health communication conducted by PKBI field officers in the HIV disease prevention program for female sex workers. The theory used in this study is the Behavior Change Communication (BCC) theory which has seven dimensions namely 1. Increasing Knowledge, 2. Stimulating community dialogue, 3. Promoting important attitudes, 4. Reducing stigma and discrimination, 5. Making requests for information and services, 5. Promote services for prevention, care, and support, 6. Promote services for prevention, care, and support. 7. Improve skills and confidence. The method in this study is a qualitative method using qualitative descriptive data. Data collection techniques by conducting in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The results in this study are known how the health communication carried out by PKBI field officers in HIV disease prevention programs for female sex workers is able to change both thoughts, attitudes and actions so that health communication messages in HIV disease prevention programs are conveyed to female sex workers.
