Hand Hygiene is one of the effective steps to prevent and control hospital infections. Based on data from the Special Eye Hospital of South Sumatra Province in 2019, the percentage of health workers for January was 68%, February 44%, March 56% with a target of 75%. The purpose of this study was to analyze the number of handhygienic adherence to officers at the Special Eye Hospital of South Sumatra Province in 2020. This research method used a cross-sectional research design with random sampling, 54 respondents consisting of officers, namely doctors and nurses, and analysis. which is used is the t-independen. analysis. Based on the results of the study, there was a relationship between attitude and compliance with hand hygiene (p = 0.022), while knowledge with hand hygiene compliance (p = 0.599), motivation with hand hygiene compliance (p = 0.540), facilities with hand hygiene compliance (p = 0.356) , and supervision with hand hygiene compliance (p = 0.759) there was no significant relationship with hand hygiene adherence to officers. Researchers suggest forming a special officer who guarantees the implementation of hand hygiene directly so that it is in accordance with predetermined procedures and also provides strict sanctions in the implementation of routine hand hygiene, improves hand hygiene compliance, attempts to implement collaborative procedures and the importance of shared perceptions of hand hygiene compliance. .
