HUBUNGAN HYGIENE SANITASI DEPOT AIR MINUM (DAM) DENGAN KEBERADAAN BAKTERI COLIFORM PADA AIR MINUM DI KECAMATAN MUARA ENIM
The number of DWD in Muara Enim District has increased rapidly in the last 2 years, but this increase has not been accompanied by supervision of hygiene sanitation, so it is feared that it will have a negative impact on the community, namely the presence of Coliform bacteria in its production drinking water. This study aims to analyze the relationship between DWD hygiene sanitation and the presence of Coliform bacteria in drinking water. The design used is a cross-sectional study design. The samples examined were 44 depots, taken from all DWDs in Muara Enim District which were recorded at the Health Office of Muara Enim Regency. Data were collected using questionnaires, observation and laboratory tests. Data analysis was performed univariate and bivariate using the chi square test. Of the 44 DWDs examined, 72% contained Coliform bacteria, the results of the analysis showed a relationship between the presence of Coliform bacteria with hygiene sanitation (p-value = 0.047 and PR = 1.552) and equipment sanitation (p-value = 0.008 and PR = 1.667). The conclusion of this study is that the effectiveness of the disinfection device is an important point to pay attention to because it has a high risk of coliform bacteria. It is recommended that drinking water depot owners routinely check the effectiveness of the disinfection device.
