The principle of portability in the national health insurance program aims to ensure that social security can be carried out faurky and equally for all Indonesian People.. In practice, this principle will run well if it has good health service accessibility. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the accessibility of health insurance in foreign area for Sriwijaya University Students. The method used is quantitative research. The research sample was 125 Sriwijaya University Students and the sampling technique used was accidental sampling. Data analysis was performed univariate and bivariate using the che square’s test. The results showed was a relationship between approachability p-value = 0,000), acceptability (p-value = 0,007), affordability (p-value = 0,000), appropriateness (p-value = 0,002) and interest in reuse of health insurance, but it had no relationship with the availability variable(p-value = 0,443). It is advisable for health facilities to improve the quality of services from a non-medical, especially communication channels. While for BPJS Kesehatan to carry out socialization on an ongoing basis, especially to the migrant community.
