ANALISIS KEPENTINGAN INDONESIA DALAM KESEPAKATAN REGIONAL COMPREHENSIVE ECONOMIC PARTNERSHIP (RCEP) PADA WORKING GROUP E-COMMERCE
In the current era of globalization the growth of the world economy is increasing, especially with the integrity of goods and services resulting in new transactions namely e-commerce, encouraging countries to conduct international cooperation by forming international organizations as a forum for cooperation especially in the field of e-commerce. The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) is an initiative introduced at the 2011 ASEAN Summit to combine 10 ASEAN member states and 6 ASEAN partners in the Free Trade Agreement, namely Australia, China, India, Japan, South Korea and New Zealand. It was an initiative discussed during Indonesia's tenure as ASEAN chairman, presented by Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono at the ASEAN heads of state forum at the Bali Summit on November 17, 2011. This research aims to explain what Indonesia's interests in the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership negotiations at the E-Commerce Working Group are specific to economic interests. The approach used in this study is the Concept of National Interest. While this research method is a qualitative method. The results of this study show that there are several Indonesian Interests in the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Negotiations on Working Group E-Commerce specific to economic interests that have been analyzed using the concept of national interest, namely (1) Indonesia has followed the development of the era where trade transactions have been through e-commerce, (2) Making Indonesia the digital of Asia, (3) In RCEP agreement provides certainty of trying for Indonesian investors in the RCEP region, without discrimination, (4) With exports into an effort by Indonesia to introduce small and medium enterprise products (SMEs), which is also reflected in Indonesia's expectation to create opportunities and utilize the e-commerce market in ASEAN as well as 6 (six) partner countries, and (5) improve human resources capabilities so as to compete with other countries.
