DESIGN TO BUILD E-COMMERCE INFORMATION SYSTEM AT ISTANA FIRDAUS PALEMBANG STORE By Anisa Marsella 09031181320037 ABSTRACT As a shop engaged in the sale of clothing, Toko Istana Firdaus Palembang needs to have a medium of information delivery that can improve sales and quality of service to its customers. The absence of media information and transactions that take place manually or directly come to the store is a problem faced by The Firdaus Palace Store Palembang. As a solution to the problem, an e-commerce-based information system was built. With this information system can facilitate the store in increasing product sales and facilitate the transaction process without consuming other operational costs through the system. By using e-commerce as a transaction tool to increase revenue by using online sales that cost much more efficiently and also oncegun save operational costs, both in terms of time, effort, and cost. So the purpose of this research is to produce an information system e-commerce sales and transactions in the palace shop firdaus and equipped with complete product information and also how to order This system is built using waterfall method and built using PHP programming language, and MySQL database.
