KUALITAS PELAYANAN ANGKUTAN PENYEBERANGAN PELABUHAN TANJUNG API-API KABUPATEN BANYUASIN
This research was based by data of the passengers of the Tanjung Api-api Port in 2019 has been decreased, the service system used is still manual, and the departures schedule are often late than the specified schedule. Tanjung Api-api Port is a research location and aims to find out the Quality of the Tanjung Api-api Crossing Transportation Service in Banyuasin Regency. The research method that used was the quantitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaire, observations, and documentation. The theory used is the Service Quality Theory by Gaspersz which consists of ten dimensions : timeliness of services, service accuracy, politeness and friendliness, responsibility, comprehensiveness, ease of getting service, service model variations, private services, service convenience, attribute. The result of this study found that the quality of the Tanjung Api-api Port with passenger perception has been implemented well, but there are 3 indicators that needs to be fixed. In this study, author suggest to re-operate the service facilities in the port, such as nursing room, pay attention to the cleanlinnes of toilets and clean water, provide ticket purchases online, add ticket counters, and using computer system in serving customers.
